Entertaining is fun

Entertaining is also, on occasion, tiring.. But always fun:-) But neither LOML nor I realised until this afternoon that we had had people over to dinner Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, and that was before today! And we didn't have anyone over more than twice... I think (and I mean this seriously!) that the biggest thing it shows is how many good friends we are lucky enough to have!

Yours, surprised,
N.

How very blessed to have so many friends! And how blessed they are to have you! Michele sent me again, and as always, I'm glad she did.

Indeed, we are very lucky to have such good friends --- although we've come to know that with time, friends come and friends go -- and one can go from friends beyond belief to none in a single shake of a rat's tail. Or some similar simile.

Yes, we are very lucky right now!

Last few weeks I had not had free weekends. This one I decided to do nothing, go nowhere, call/meet no one.

Be with myself and of course my blogger friends.

Well, here from Michele and thanks for your visits. No one has missed me today..:D

Sounds like fun... hopefully you'll be able to sit back and relax when everyone reciprocates.

I love the sound and the feel of a house that's full of good friends and family. It makes me feel warm, somehow, and it validates why I love being part of something bigger than me.

My wife's away this week, so we're in hunker down mode. But I can't wait until she returns so we can get the invitations going again.

Michele sent me to share this thought with you. She's cool that way.

Carmi, I like the way that you put that -- it does feel very warm and family-ish and makes me think of christmases past, visiting cousins, or having people visit us at my parents place. Gives me an almost Dickensian little frisson of joy:-)
Dickensian in the good, not the bad, way:-)

I can relate. I had a little get together last weekend and there were no less than 75 guests in and around my pool.

Michele sent me,
