Gautami: this is a cropped version: the original has more sky than this, and it would be easy to write longer poems on it! Let me know if you want me to upload it. N.
You've reminded me of what it felt like to stand on the beach and watch these majestic birds fly over. They seemed to barely be making any effort, gliding effortlessly in groups of 4 or 5.
They flew over so rarely - maybe once an hour, back and forth along the beachfront - that I would stop what I was doing as they approached.
Alas, I couldn't get any aerial photos of them. I DID snag a photo of one walking along the water's edge:

That is so good. One can write poetry on it. If I do, I will let you know!
Glad Michele sent me here to inspire me.

Very cool photo! I have actually never seen pelicans fly...only seen one or two in an animal park.
Here from Michele's tonight, glad I stopped by.

Not as evocative as this image...
Hi from Michele's this morning. Thanks for posting this image!
If I write a good one, I will let you know. I have some jumbled words but nothing concrete. Seeding is important too.
MIchele sent me to thank you for the offer. I appreciate it very much.
