Back to baking

I'm home, and that means that it is time to get into the kitchen.  This afternoon I put together a dough for pizza tomorrow evening (new friends coming over, and a longer-term friend coming back from afar for a visit): then I threw together breaded chicken for dinner (plus veggies and potatoes) and finally made a brioche dough for a dessert pizza.
I'm still experimenting with the new Viking mixer: I liked the action of the KA better, I think: it seemed to mix the dough slightly better --- but the V seems to be a lot quieter, and perhaps a bit more powerful.  We'll see how the final results of the dough turn out tomorrow.
