Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all in Canada, and to all not in Canada who want to help them celebrate! We had a feast with friends yesterday, and though they weren't Canadian, at least they were from Vermont, which is close.

Yours, gratefully,
N.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! We don't have an equivalent holiday in the UK - I guess we have nothing to be thankful about! LOL! I think our equivalent is Armistice Day when we remember the those who have fought and died for our country.

It's a beeeeee uuuuuu ttteeeee full day here in Canadaland as we celebrate Thanksgiving (and my daughter's 14th birthday. :)) I spent yesterday in the kitchen surrounded by savoury aromas of a cooking turkey and all the trimmings.....even made the cranberry sauce from local cranberries I bought at the market. (who knew it was so easy!!! Now I want to start a gourment cranberry sauce company and start promoting it as the next salsa.......what do you think N??)

Today........a drive to Gagetown to see the colour of the leaves and river......and yummy turkey sandwiches on homemade bread. Wish I had a loaf of yours. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. How lucky we are. How fortunate we have a day to allow us to stop and give thanks to the many blessings we have been given, and to recognize the others who are living very different lives under very different circumstances. May we never forget.
