This morning, unbidden, Boo decided to make bread. If I would help her! And she and Skibo between them were able to figure out that we needed bowls, yeast, water, flour, sugar, salt, and clean hands!
I admire you for wanting to help your little ones. Having children in the kitchen is one thing I abhor. I was no good about it with my kids, and I am trying to be better with my grandchildren, who all like to help me. It's really sweet of them!
Hey! Thanks for that Albion site. I have several cooking/recipe sites saved in my Favorites. This will definitely go there. Thanks again. And I think you're going onto my blogroll. OK?
It's great that your kids are helping with the breadmaking, N. I think I'm going to make some quickbread in just a few minutes. Some cinnamon muffins, I think. I'm feeling too lazy to make anything that takes more than 20 minutes!
Hi! Sorry that I've got comment moderation activated --- I had a few unpleasant comments which forwarded people to bad places automatically --- so now I like to check that comments are real before allowing them.

My kids used to like to help cook - now they just know everything! I always used the sniff/poke test. It's safer that way.
