Today is, of course, the first day of Spring here in the Northern hemisphere. A happy change from the bleak of Winter --- not that we've had that much bleak here this year: little snow, and a fair degree of sunshine.
But Spring here is a rather lovely season, and today is living up to its promise: sunny, warm but not hot, a delightful day.
